August 1, The powerful eye ability is painful to achieve, requiring the death of a loved one as a trigger, but once awakened grants the user techniques far superior to that of the basic Sharingan. Even Kakashi revealed he was struggling to see through his borrowed Sharingan towards the end of Naruto.
Despite this, there is never any sign of Obito's sight deteriorating or the same blindness that afflicted Sasuke and Itachi. This could be seen as a Naruto plot hole, but that's not necessarily the case due to the cells of Hashirama that were first used by Madara to save Obito.
The inner workings of the First Hokage's cells are never fully explained in Naruto. In truth, they mostly serve as a convenient plot device that cures people such as Madara and Obito , grant powers Yamato's wood release or Danzo's creepy arm and performs other such miracles as needed.
Kishimoto never outright confirms that Obito didn't go blind for this reason, but if the Senju juice can heal fatal wounds and sustain Obito so well he never needs to eat or drink, it can surely stave off the curse of Uchiha blindness. If you're talking about Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susano'o, only Itachi had the first two and Sasuke had Amaterasu due to their being siblings I assume.
Every mangekyo has different powers, Obito's powers being the two variations of Kamui, one for each eye. If he had both eyes he might have used Susano'o then but he didn't so he couldn't. Also, though it was only stated once and not focused on at all, Kakashi was actually going blind from the mangekyo and he used it far less than Obito did.

I think Danzo even commented that his usage of it was inferior to Itachi's because he couldn't manipulate the victim's perception of time with it? And aren't two powers required to use Susano'o.
The databooks say you have to unlock the power of each eye in order to use it. Danzo was not saying his tsukoyomi was inferior he was saying his overall skill in genjutsu was.
I agree with what people are saying about Hashirama's cells.
