Only the initial chain can directly respond to the attack, and only in this Chain can you activate cards such as " Mirror Force ", " Sakuretsu Armor ", and " Magic Cylinder " Cards that can only be activated when your opponent's Monster declares an attack.

Cards that do not have this restriction " Book of Moon ", " Compulsory Evacuation Device ", " Waboku ", etc can still be activated in another Chain before entering the Damage Step. The Chain resolves backwards. Since " Royal Decree " is no longer face-up when " Mirror Force " resolves, it will not negate the effect of " Mirror Force ".

A fusion monster, Mirror Force Dragon is made by combining the Fang of Critias with Mirror Force, sending Mirror Force from the hand or field to the grave to special summon it. Monsters changed to face down defense by this effect cannot change their position.

This is the card most worth playing—it stops offenses cold, making it impossible to synchro or Xyz into a bigger monster. First of all, sorry if any of these are already answered. Is my monster alive or destroyed? March of the monarchs protects the monster right? Does it have to be exactly what it says on the fusion cards or is this kind of "alternatives" accepted? The only other way you could do so is if Dark Paladin had said "1 "Buster Blader" monster". Dark Paladin does not so you may use Fusion Subs but only one due to the restrains on Fusion Substitute monsters like Versago the Destroyer, which specify that the other materials must be correct.
